Access for every path
Accessibility
Freedom Paths is designed to support a broad range of people, devices, and ways of navigating. Freedom Paths uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA as its technical standard.
Accessibility built into the experience
- Semantic page landmarks and a consistent heading structure
- Keyboard access for navigation, the diagnostic, appearance controls, and disclosure controls
- Visible focus indicators and touch targets sized for comfortable interaction
- Text and interface contrast selected for Level AA readability
- Light and dark modes with system preference support
- Responsive layouts that support browser zoom and smaller screens
- Reduced motion support based on device preferences
- Text alternatives and hidden labels for meaningful interface controls
- A skip link for direct access to the main content
- Layouts that reflow without horizontal reading at supported zoom levels
- Motion that also communicates through stable text and structure
Review and testing
Release review includes keyboard navigation, responsive reflow, contrast, reduced motion, semantic structure, and automated checks. Manual review covers the diagnostic, Path navigation, checkout links, booking links, legal pages, and product access pages. Feedback from assistive technology users informs continued improvements.
Guides and partner services
Every purchased guide includes a structured HTML reading edition for screen readers, browser zoom, reading modes, and flexible text display. The visual PDFs are image-based editions. Another accessible format can be requested by email. Stripe and Calendly maintain their own accessibility programs. If either service creates a barrier, Freedom Paths will arrange another reasonable way to purchase or book.
Current conformance position
The website and HTML reading editions are maintained toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Visual PDF editions are paired with structured HTML and direct format support. Third-party checkout and booking experiences remain under their providers’ control, with email assistance available for an equivalent path through the task.
Ongoing care
Accessibility grows through continued review, real-world feedback, and testing with assistive technologies. New content and integrations will follow the same accessibility target.
